APRIL AR RELEASE and HOP!

Welcome to AR's April Release and Blog Hop featuring the brand new EASEL TOP BOX template! I designed this storage box to help organize recipes and I also wanted a convenient way to display the card. Well, here it is… a storage box with a built-in easel! But instead of making a recipe box, I ended up making a vacation photo box to organize photos that my daughter and I took while vacationing in the Philippines two summers ago.  The dividers came in handy to separate the different cities we visited.  One day, I'll make this box for my recipes!

WIN THE EASEL TOP BOX!

The other AR Girls have created their version of the EASEL TOP BOX and I can't wait to see what they have made. Click on the links of the other designers below and leave each one a comment to automatically be entered in the drawing to receive this new template.  Comments are also welcome on our Facebook Page.  You have until Friday, April 11, to leave your comments.  One comment will be randomly chosen and announced on Creations by AR Shop and on our Facebook Page Saturday the 12th.

SPRING INTO MARCH!

Welcome to Creations by AR Spring Blog Hop!

In most parts of the country, it's hard to imagine that Spring is just a few days away, especially with the bitter cold weather some folks have been experiencing… but not us in warm California (as I'm typing this, it's a lovely 84ºF outside)!  I hope our Spring Blog Hop will give you a glimpse of the beautiful upcoming season!

I have two brand new sets this month.  The first one is the Carrot Patch, which has a removable insert that holds three carrot boxes perfectly! The white picket fence with grass surrounding it makes an adorable favor box or display.  Notice my customized sign post?  I thought it gave it some fun!

The second template for this month is the Standing Cross.  When designing this project, I thought about Jesus and how he gave His life for us on the cross.  As a child, I used to listen to a song called "I Believe in a Hill Called Mount Calvary," sung by the Heritage Singers (seen here on YouTube). Trying not to make the "hill" too large, my "hill" ended up looking like a stand instead of a hill.  Oh well...

If you'd like to receive one of these new templates, just "hop" on over to each of the blogs listed below to see what the other AR Girls have created using these sets and leave each of them a comment on what you think of their projects. Comments are also accepted on the AR Facebook Page.  A random comment will be chosen to receive their choice of either the Carrot Patch or the Standing Cross.

Comments are accepted until Friday, March 14 (12 noon Eastern) and the random winner will be announced on March 15 on the AR Facebook Page and on Creations by AR website.

Enjoy our hop and hopefully you'll find inspiration along the way!

Baby Love Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Baby Love Blog Hop!  I'm excited to share with you my new sets designed especially for babies!

Dress Up Baby Bag

This Dress Up Baby Bag is an adorable gift bag that can be customized for a baby girl or baby boy!  Two outfits are included in this set, along with extra pieces to "Dress Up" the unique hanger bag.

Rockin' Horse Card

Designing this Rockin' Horse Card was a bit of a challenge, but I had fun doing it! It measures 4" x 4" and fits nicely inside an envelope.  For this card, I distressed the edges and used an embossing folder to give it some texture.

Rockin' Cradle

Have you ever made something that turned out just right and you just had to run and share it with someone?  Well, I was so pleased and excited with how this Rockin' Cradle template turned out that I had to share it with my girls -- even before the glue dried completely!  Of course they thought I was nuts when I stormed into their room and started demonstrating how it rocked and how everything just fit into place!  When my excitement died down, I went back to work and designed a second style especially for crafters without a cutting machine.

All three templates are available in the specially priced Baby Bundle, but are also available separately.

Here's How:

One more thing I'd like to share:  My sister wanted to make some photo booth props for her son's birthday party (which are so much fun for everyone!), so I made the Party Props set which contains several pieces and are sized for both adults and kids.

I hope you enjoy our Baby Love Hop and find creative inspiration!  Thanks for stopping by!

A Love-ly January Blog Hop

Welcome to Creations by AR January Blog Hop!

Today we are releasing the Lovely Cart and XO Heart Card!

With Valentine's Day coming up, I just had to include the heart wheel design on this two-tiered Lovely Cart (three wheel designs are included).  I filled my cart with wrapped candies, but you can fill it with paper flowers (see photo below) or even a cupcake!

Now how about the fast and easy-to-make XO Heart Card? This template comes with a plain banner to use with stamps and another one with an "XOXO" cutout. So whether you use scissors or a cutting machine, several of these cards can be whipped up in no time!

From now until January 28

the XO Heart Card is included with the  Lovely Cart template!

(but it's also available separately)

HOW to WIN the LOVELY CART TEMPLATE:

• Just visit and leave a comment on each of the AR Girls' blogs listed below.

• You can also leave a comment on our AR Facebook Page.

• Comments are accepted until 12 Noon Friday, January 24.

One random comment will be chosen from one of the blogs listed below or from one of the comments on our FB Page. Winner will be announced on January 25 on the AR Facebook Page and on the Creations by AR website.  So be sure to visit one of those sites!
