I'm an aunt! Actually, it's my 37th time, so that makes 18 nieces and 19 nephews. Phew! You can't even imagine what it's like at Christmas time back home -- it's the best!!
I made this card for her (from the Baby Onesies set) using layers of tulle and a pretty "rosette" ribbon that I've had in my ribbon stash. It was finally time to use it and the occasion was perfect. I originally started out by making a little muu'muu (Hawaiian dress), but it was just way too bright. Her mom owns a dance studio in San Francisco that specializes in Hawaiian and Tahitian dancing, so I thought it would be appropriate... maybe next time! For now, I think this sweet card will do.
