3D Tuesday - Hexy Envy

Join me for this week's 3D challenge at Paper Craft Planet!  The challenge is to see how creative you can be using a plain hexagon envelope and turn it into a fun little gift.  Try putting a note, tea bag, photo, or a square piece of wrapped chocolate inside.

Once you have the template for this envy, all that's left for you to do is fold and decorate. I've included the PDF template, so why not come play along? (Cutter file can be found here.)

To keep this envy closed, I made a belly band out of a wide piece of ribbon and decorated it with my organza flower and red trinket pins, which you can get here.

If you'd like to play along, you can find the PDF template in the 3d Challenge group on PCP. When uploading your photo, please use the tag 3d82.

Here's a quick tutorial:

Print and cut the template.

Fold along the red lines (see photo)

Alternate layering the "petals" on top of each other securing the last petal under the first petal folded.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful week!

I really like this simple, easy package. I would love to make a few of these for Christmas. They would hold gift cards nicely.
