PAPERCLIP BOARD - TUTORIAL

I'm hosting this week's 3D Tuesday Challenge over at Paper Craft Planet and today I'd like to share with you a tutorial on how to make a Paperclip Board! This was a fun project to make and you can customize its size and designs to your liking! If you'd like to give it a try, please post your photos HERE and use the tag 3d155 so I can add it to our album!

Here are the Instructions:

SUPPLIES
Cardboard or Chipboard
Designer Paper
Adhesive
3 or more Paperclips
3 or more Decorative Brads
Paper Piercer or Tack

OPTIONALS:
Embellishments
Clear Contact® Paper (for use with dry erase markers)
Corner Rounder Punch

Measure and cut cardboard, designer paper, and Contact® Paper (optional) to the size you'd like your board to be. For this project, my measurements are 8" x 11".

Apply adhesive to back of designer paper; adhere to cardboard/chipboard.
Distress edges with ink and sponge if desired.

If using Contact® Paper, peel the backing off and carefully adhere over designer paper. Trim if necessary.

Trim corners if desired. (I used Zutter Corner Rounder 1/2".)

Decide where you'd like to place the paperclips and brads on the board. Punch a hole large enough for the brad prongs to fit through.

I used a paper piecer, but a thick tack will also work.

Slide brad prongs through the small end of the paperclip and then through the hole on board; secure back. Repeat as many times as needed.

All that's left is to decorate and enjoy!

Make sure to add your photos to Paper Craft Planet using the tag "3d155".  Thanks so much for stopping by!
