Paper Crafting Trends with PCP and IHP!

The Paper Craft Planet Super Novas and the i {heart} papers design team have joined forces to deliver a showcase of the 2012 trends that were spotted at this year's Winter CHA show! With a couple of items that I received from i {heart} papers, I've incorporated some of those trends in my project today.

Here are the products I was challenged to use to showcase some of those trends.

Head Over Heels stamp set (LilyBee Design)
Lavish Trimmings (Tim Holtz)

PENNANTS! You can't miss these... they're EVERYWHERE! I was happy to see that the stamp set included the pennant stamp. I stamped a few of these on lightweight card stock and cut them out.

TWINE! They aren't just for bakers! After cutting out the stamped pennants, I used the black and white baker's twine to string them for hanging!

KRAFT CARD STOCK! I've always loved using kraft card stock and these are still hot! Using the brocade stamp, I created a pattern on the kraft card stock with VersaMark. Doing this gave the paper the look of TEXTURE!

And who doesn't love TIM HOLTZ products? I just love his Lavish Trimmings with that gorgeous flower ribbon.  I knew exactly where I was going to put it!

You always manage to blow me away and this is no exception. I'm going to make your bag, put Lynn's can in it and add Lori's pinwheel and Wendy's card and call it a day! (ha ha)

Seriously, Adela, this is just stunning! You're always so amazing. When I grow up I want to be just like you <3
