Necklace for Pennies!

For 3D Tuesday on Paper Craft Planet our guest host, Silvia Mabie, came up with this awesome challenge: to make a necklace using a flat metal washer. She even provided us with a link to the tutorial and once you get started, you'll see how easy it is to make one. My daughter made three in about 10 minutes (minus the drying time). To make mine, I used the following items:

1" Metal Washer
Black Cord
Necklace Findings
Designer Paper
Crystal Effects
Adhesive

The tutorial mentioned using a laser printer to print out the paper, but I just used a scrap piece of designer paper. It also mentioned to wait 24 hrs after gluing on the paper to the washer, but I only waited a few minutes then went on to the next step of applying the Crystal Effects.

It's really fun to make and very inexpensive! Play along with us and share a photo of your project. Upload your photo to PCP (tutorial on uploading photos) and be sure to use the tag 3d68.

Have fun and thanks for stopping by!
