For Our Brave Soldiers

Last night our small lake community had a boat parade honoring our brave soldiers representing our country. About a month or two ago, two of our neighborhood "boys" were killed in action the day before they were to come home to their families. This short video that I took was held in memory of our two residents and also for all the heroes who served our country.

You'll have to ignore my unsteady hands -- I was only planning on taking photos, but ended up taking videos instead with my regular tiny camera. The music in the background was recorded a few days after 9/11 and our friend, Tim Davis, did the vocals and my brother, Art Mapa, did the arranging and played pretty much all the instruments.

I hope all of you have a wonderful Monday with your friends and families.
