Hanging Hearts

I'm hosting this week's 3D Tuesday at Paper Craft Planet.  When I saw these heart "cups," I just had to make some! It's really quite easy and I have the tutorial below. I hope you can play along and share your version of this adorable "hanging heart."  Please upload your photo to PCP and remember to tag it 3d46. (This project was inspired by marthastewart.com.)

TUTORIAL

SUPPLIES
Square Double Sided Pattern Paper (I used 6", 5" and 4" squares)
1/8" Circle Punch
Ribbon

Score and fold at center, horizontally and vertically.

Score and fold diagonally at all four corners.

Fold two opposite corners towards the inside.

While still folded, draw a heart shape using the center of the square as the bottom of the heart. Cut upper part of the heart.

At the opening, layer the two "inside" folds by pulling the two sides together.

Punch a hole through the center of all layers just formed. Pull ribbon through hole opening and tie to secure.

Well, that's it for now. Have a wonderful time crafting and thanks for stopping by!
