Cupcake Set

Here's a project I made for The Shabby Tea Room Challenge #11 -- to create a card or project using either a tea party theme or polka dots or both. I'm hoping that all those blings on my cupcakes are acceptable.

This set is actually a sneak of templates that I've been working on. It's a cupcake favor box and a matching card. I was so happy that the card turned out just as I had  pictured it in my mind! It was supposed to be a plain tri-fold card, but I thought why not add a candle to double as a closure? So I made a slit on the "frosting" which the candle can slip right through and help keep the card closed.

This set will be available in June and it will come in pdf, svg and dxf files (for those with cutting machines). Cutting out the vertical slits on the front of the cupcake was easy to cut using my Cricut (will work with both 6" and 12" mats). If you're a "print and cut" crafter, the slits are an option.

That's it for today. I'm so excited about my girls getting out of school soon.  At least I can sleep in an extra hour!

SUPPLIES
Paper: White, My Mind's Eye DP
Acc: Crocheted Flower (Homemade), Glitter Button (Making Memories), Swirl Cuttlebug Folder (Provocraft), Self-Adhesive Pink and Blue Rhinestones.
