ONCE UPON A TIME.... as a child, I loved stories that began with those words and often, there would be a castle in the story. Here's my version of a castle. It's actually a gift box with three compartments: one tall tower box in the middle and two open compartments on each side. The sides can hold many things like crayons, sweets, trinkets, etc. The tower box is large enough to hold 3" x 3" note cards or a small gift.  As you can see in the photo below, the roof of the tower opens and is kept closed by tying a string or ribbon through the holes. The castle might look complicated, but once all the pieces are cut, it takes just minutes to put together!


What's a castle without a royal carriage? This ONCE UPON A CARRIAGE is so easy to make even if you don't have a cutting machine! It makes a great favor box and can be designed for a knight or for a princess!

With the school year starting again, I couldn't resist making hi-top and low-top sneakers. Put some goodies inside these SNEAKIES to hand out as party favors or do what my sister is planning to do: make these out of fabric for her granddaughter's dolls!

    So cute! My fav is the sneaker, as the black converse would be a perfect fit for my grandson!! I also love the castle and carriage, but with all grandsons I think they would prefer the sneaker.

    Oh Adela, those sneakers remind me the converse shoes I wore in gym class! Your castle and carriage are perfect for a little girls tea party:) I'm thinking the carriage could also be used as a pram (with a few adjustments and the right colors). Now I'm off to see what the design team whipped up with your new templates.

    Fantastic! Just when I thought I'd clean up my craft area-some irresistible templats to play with! The sneakies are fabulous and my granddaughter will LOVE LOVE LOVE them. She would also love that castle so her little toy frogs could play inside! How to choose which one I"d like to do first? Perhaps it's not necessary to choose. Lemme have at all of them!
