Kyle

Here's a photo of Nolan (my 7 year old nephew), his buddy and my niece. I wanted to share a little something about his friend Kyle (center), also 7. The two boys were great buddies and both played in a little league in Dallas. Kyle passed away Saturday from a very rare disease caused by a parasite that was present in the lake where he and his family were vacationing. Apparently, after he and his family went swimming, Kyle began to have headaches and vomiting. He passed on within hours.  Here's an interview of Kyle's father, if you'd like to listen to his story: http://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local-beat/Rare_Parasite_Suspected_in_Boys_Death_Dallas-Fort_Worth.html

Please keep Kyle's family and his loved ones in your prayers. My nephew is also taking it very hard. I just cannot imagine losing a child so quickly.

How tragic. Such a short life. My sympathies go out to Kyles family and to you and yours. Give your children a special hug.

How short a life can be and yet sooo full of life at the same time. The father oozed love for his son lost and yet such joy to have had that vacation (however sad) to be the lasting memory for his son, I send good thoughts and prayers to this family.

Always share that extra hug and smile with those you love.
